Valentine's Day and Princess Dolls

I wanted to take A's picture on Wednesday morning before school in her cute outfit...these pictures are proof she is my child by NOT being much of a morning person.

A recieved these princess dolls from a very special Valentine. The are cute...but now all four dolls have to go with her everywhere.....I think I need a few more car seats to carry them along!

"P" Day

Annaleigh and her friend really enjoyed wearing their P.J.'s, eating Pizza, Pears, and Peaches and Playing on "P" day last week at school!

1st day of Preschool and Welcome to the Neighborhood

As expected, Annaleigh is loving school. Here are the promised pictures her teacher took on the first day:

We are really enjoying our new house and neighborhood...I would post pictures, but there are still boxes everywhere!!! Our sweet next door neighbors brought over a yummy loaf of bread (and, yes, we did actually eat it, Jillina) and we walked down to one of the little parks in the neighborhood yesterday and met some new friends and mommies on the playground.

Happy Mardi Gras

So, Fat Tuesday is the only day of the year that I wish I still lived in Louisiana!! Believe it or not EVERYTHING in the whole state closes down (Including government, banks, schools, etc.) and everyone just goes outside to catch the nearest parade or get together with friends....So much fun!!! The pictures above were taken at a Mardi Gras parade in Lafayette, LA 4 years ago.

On a side note, we got moved in this past weekend. My mother and father-in-law were here and a tremendous help...Annaleigh also started pre-school this morning at Grapevine Christian School (the school at our church.) We weren't able to get any pictures this morning because she was crying, but Russell is going to walk down there later today and see if he can get a few.
