So, Fat Tuesday is the only day of the year that I wish I still lived in Louisiana!! Believe it or not EVERYTHING in the whole state closes down (Including government, banks, schools, etc.) and everyone just goes outside to catch the nearest parade or get together with friends....So much fun!!! The pictures above were taken at a Mardi Gras parade in Lafayette, LA 4 years ago.
On a side note, we got moved in this past weekend. My mother and father-in-law were here and a tremendous help...Annaleigh also started pre-school this morning at Grapevine Christian School (the school at our church.) We weren't able to get any pictures this morning because she was crying, but Russell is going to walk down there later today and see if he can get a few.

Awww...I hope her first day at school went well. My niece is going to start going on Wednesdays and Fridays, so at least they'll be together one day a week!

Congrats on being moved in. Hope all the unpacking and organizing goes well. Hope A had a great day at school. I'm sure seeing her daddy in the middle of the day will be a fun surprise for her!
Congrats on the new house. Fun times for sure! I was looking at beach rentals today, and I saw one named Annabelle Lee & made me think of you....a twist on the name, but close.
